Privacy Policy

Eyra (“we”, “the app”) is an AI assistant that helps you work with your calendar, tasks, Jira, and uploaded documents. This policy explains what data we process and why.

1. Account data

When you sign in (email/password, Google, or Apple), we store your account identifiers (such as email and Firebase Auth UID) so we can provide the service and secure your data.

2. Connected integrations

If you connect Google, Jira, or Microsoft, we store OAuth tokens and use them only to fulfill your requests in the app (for example: listing today’s events, creating a task you approved, or summarizing a sprint). You can disconnect integrations at any time in Tools & Integrations.

3. Google user data

When you connect Google, Eyra requests these scopes and nothing else:

Google Calendar (auth/calendar) — to read your schedule for the daily brief and to create or change events after you approve the change.
Google Tasks (auth/tasks) — to read your task list and to add or complete tasks after you approve the change.
Email address (auth/userinfo.email) — to show which account is connected.

Eyra does not request access to Gmail or to your files in Google Drive.

Eyra’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:

We use Google user data only to provide and improve the features you see in the app.
We do not transfer Google user data to others except as needed to provide those features, when you ask us to, for security purposes, or where the law requires it.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine learning models, and we do not allow our AI providers to do so.
No human reads your Google user data except where you have given specific permission, where it is necessary for security or to comply with the law, or where the data is aggregated and anonymized.

Nothing is written to your calendar or tasks without a confirmation step: Eyra prepares the change, shows you what it will do, and acts only when you approve it.

4. Chat, memory, and documents

Messages you send to Eyra, optional memory items, daily briefings, and documents you upload to Cloud Vault are stored in your account so Eyra can continue the conversation and answer questions. Private Vault content stays on your device when that mode is used.

5. AI providers

To generate answers we send relevant prompts and short context excerpts to AI providers (Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude). We send the least context a request needs rather than your whole history, and we use these providers under terms that do not permit training their models on what we send. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Push notifications

If you enable notifications, we store a device push token to deliver daily briefings and meeting reminders. You can disable notifications in system settings or in the app.

7. Your choices

Edit or clear Eyra memory in the app.
Disconnect integrations.
Delete uploaded documents.
Delete your account in Settings (removes account data we control).
